Before You Hire a Freelancer
Freelance relationships go more smoothly when you, the client, go into them properly prepared. Before you place an advertisement or contact a freelance designer, you should be ready to answer these questions:
- What specific work do you want done?
- What is the goal of this work?
- How does this project fit into your organizational goals?
- What expertise is needed to do this work well?
- What is your budget for this project?
- What is your deadline for this project?
- What is your plan for revisions and extras that may come up during the design process?

Constant communication is the key to work with a freelancer effectively and online tools like Skpe can help you a lot. One of the best ways to do before hiring a freelancer is to TEST them first. This will help you reduce the risk of hiring a freelancer who is not capable to do the job. Sometimes conducting only an interview and checking their resume is not enough to see their full potential to do the job.
